The fires earlier this week​ are a great reminder that the warmer weather means we are also entering wildfire season. Here at Energeticcity.ca, we predominantly report on the Prince George Fire Centre which covers most of northeast BC. Throughout the next few months, we will be sharing information on prevention tipsfires of note​, and any information if an evacuation occurs.

If you see a wildfire, make sure to report it to the BC Wildfire Service by calling 1-800-663-5555 or *5555. You can also let us know at energeticcity.ca/contact-us​ or email us at contact@energeticcity.ca and we can share any important information with other residents. 

On Friday, we were joined by a member of the BC Wildfire Service on This Week in the Peace to learn more about the Fish Creek fire. You can listen to it wherever you get your podcasts or watch the video below:
