Pedro Roldan-Delgado, information officer with the Prince George Fire Centre, says crews are still on site as of 1:45 p.m. on April 25th but will likely be finished by the end of the day.
“The crews managed to get it under control,” said Roldan-Delgado.
“There is no immediate threat for it getting out of the perimeter anymore … so the worst should be behind us now.”
BCWS previously listed the fire as out of control and four hectares in size.
