A highway intersection north of Grande Prairie is currently closed following a hit-and-run incident that took place on the morning of April 15th.

GRANDE PRAIRIE, A.B. — A highway intersection north of Grande Prairie is currently closed following a hit-and-run incident.

According to RCMP officers, the incident occurred shortly after 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15th, on Alberta Highway 2, near Highway 647 north of Sexsmith.

Highway 2 northbound and Highway 647 eastbound are closed at the intersection while officers at the scene conduct an investigation.
