RCMP, coroners work to identify human remains found in Fort Nelson

Human remains have been found in Fort Nelson, and members of the Northern Rockies RCMP detachment and the BC Coroners Service are working to identify them.

FORT NELSON, B.C. — Investigators are now working to identify human remains found in Fort Nelson.

According to RCMP North District media relations officer Madonna Saunderson, the remains were discovered in the town on Tuesday, April 8th.

RCMP officers and the BC Coroners Service are now working together in the hopes of confirming the person’s identity.
