All-candidates forum set for Fort St. John

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — As the federal election grows ever closer, an all-candidates forum in Fort St. John has been confirmed for the Prince George, Peace River and Northern Rockies riding. 

On April 15th, the Lido Theatre is hosting an all-candidates forum in Fort St. John for candidates for the local MP seat.

Doors will open at 6 p.m., and the forum is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Pre-booking for the event is not necessary.

Residents can submit their questions ahead of time online, and watch the forum online on Facebook or YouTube if unable to attend in person.

Early voting in the region opens on April 18th, and election day is April 28th

Candidate nominations have closed through Elections Canada, with five candidates approved for the Prince George, Peace River and Northern Rockies riding: Bob Zimmer of the Conservative Party of Canada, the incumbent MP; David Watson of the People’s Party; Mary Forbes of the Green Party; Cory Longley of the New Democratic Party; and Peter Njenga of the Liberal Party.
