Huskies win 5-1 over Calgary’s Stampeders on day two of provincials
Friday’s game against Wainwright will come down to “playing to the best of [their] ability,” says Pups’ head coach.

The win evened their record at one win and one loss in the tournament, following their opening game loss against the hosts.
Currently, the Huskies are in a three-way tie for second position at the tournament with three points, trailing Sylvan Lake who lead with five.
Huskies head coach Todd Alexander said the victory stemmed from their execution, although he did admit there were “pockets” the team didn’t like at junctures in the contest.
“Overall, our structure held in there,” said Alexander. “We buried some goals today too. I like the fact we went to the net and made better plays with the puck offensively.”
