According to the event organizer, Darin Reeves, Zimmer had to cancel the event due to the snap election called for April 28th.

“Mr. Bob Zimmer had to cancel the presentation because obviously, he’s campaigning,” said Reeves.

According to Reeves, a new date for the ceremony has not been finalized but will likely take place after the election.
