PRRD to host meeting to discuss Hudson’s Hope work camp permit application
The Peace River Regional District is hosting a meeting April 10th to collect public feedback on a permit application for a work camp near Hudson’s Hope.

Update, April 1st, 12.30 p.m.: An earlier version of this article claimed the land where the work camp has been proposed was owned by the PRRD. This is not the case: the land is privately owned. Energeticcity.ca is happy to set the record straight.

If the permit is approved, a 30-worker camp would be established on a 10-hectare plot of land southwest of Fort St. John and east of Hudson’s Hope.
The permit would last for three years.
A meeting for residents to provide input on the situation is being held at the PRRD’s office in Dawson Creek on Thursday, April 10th at 10:00 a.m.
The district has held similar meetings for temporary use permit applications in the past, including one in October for a much larger work camp near Hudson’s Hope and Fort St. John.
