Water in Taylor to be temporarily shut off for third time in March

The District of Taylor is notifying the public of another water shut off on Wednesday, March 19th.

TAYLOR, B.C. — The water in Taylor is being shut off for the third time in a month due to water leaks. 

People in Taylor are being notified that the shut-off will occur on Wednesday, March 19th at 9 a.m, and will mostly affect westerly properties.

According to the announcement from the District of Taylor, the shut-off is due to a water leak on 102nd Street below Pine Avenue West.

It said the shut-off could last until the late afternoon.

The district experienced two previous shut-offs on March 4th and 5th, also for water leaks.

“We are sorry for any inconvenience and will rectify the situation as soon as possible,” the district said in the announcement.

Residents are encouraged to take precautions to store up water for their households and to prepare for other water outage issues.

Anyone who experiences any issues after the shut-off is asked to call the district office at 250-789-3392.
