When they arrived, they reportedly heard a gunshot, then “took appropriate action”, Saunderson says.

“Shortly after police arrived, an adult woman exited the home on her own accord,” she explains. “Moments later an adult man also exited the house and police noted that he appeared to be suffering from a gunshot wound.”

The man was reportedly taken to the hospital immediately. Police officers say the two people involved in the incident know each other, and officers don’t believe there is any further risk to the public.
