“Environment Canada has not forecasted significant amounts of snow and there is no ‘storm warning,’” a message from the company reads, “but we wanted to remind everyone, if you are travelling in the Peace this week, to check the weather forecast and DriveBC as this storm progresses.”

The company says crews are prepared to begin snow clearing in all areas and is reminding residents to maintain a safe distance from plow trucks and graders.

Energeticcity.ca contacted Dawson Road Maintenance – the company responsible for maintaining provincial roads in the North Peace – requesting a statement regarding the forecasted snowfall.
