Obituary – Margaret Jean Young

Margaret Jean Young (nee Dilworth) was born on January 23, 1934, near Dawson Creek, B.C. and passed away on March 2, 2025, in Victoria , B.C.
Jean was the second of eleven children born to Lily and Ernie Dilworth.

Jean married Gordon Young in 1950, and together they raised five daughters on their farm in Sunrise Valley, B.C.

She was pre-deceased by her husband of 70 years and her son-in-law, Bud Alton.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra, Judy (Fred), Debbie (John), Cindy (Tibor), and Laurie (Steve), as well as 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

This loving lady was hard-working, witty and kind, and will be forever missed by her family and friends.
