Behind the Scenes

Here at Energeticcity.ca, we utilize various social media channels to showcase our stories and other events happening around the region. While we have been removed from some channels, we try our best to ensure we have some sort of presence to help connect everyone and invite new readers to come to the site. Part of our goal with this is to also showcase what makes the Peace region a unique and great place to live.

A couple recent videos I wanted to showcase include our recap of the High on Ice Winter Festival and a story about a local resident dealing with a moose on their porch. In the former, we were able to interview real residents of the region to hear their thoughts on the festival and what they enjoyed. In the latter, we utilized footage provided to us by the subject of the story. Thanks to everyone who helped us out with these videos!

Another fun set of videos I wanted to showcase was us introducing our new News Director: Franki Berry. Since Franki is joining us all the way from the United Kingdom, we thought it would be fun to see how familiar she is with Canadian slang. To make things fair, we then tested our reporters’ knowledge of British slang.

If you enjoy any of these types of videos, make sure to follow us on YouTube or TikTok. If you have an idea for a video, let me know at greg@moosemediafsj.ca
