Taylor Bridge to close overnight this weekend as maintenance resumes

Traffic delays are set to hit the Taylor Bridge soon as maintenance resumes at 7:00 p.m. on February 28th.

TAYLOR, B.C. — Traffic delays are set to hit the Taylor Bridge soon as maintenance resumes.

Dawson Road Maintenance has announced plans to perform maintenance on the bridge between 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28th and Saturday, March 1st at 3:00 a.m.

While the work is being done, oversized loads will be unable to cross the bridge.

It will also be reduced to single-lane alternating traffic for the duration of the maintenance.

This comes after maintenance work closed the bridge twice in January.
