TAYLOR, B.C. — Taylor residents will have an opportunity to replace their old or outdated smoke detectors and get some new ones over the weekend.

The district has announced local firefighters will take to the streets on March 1st for its smoke detector program, going door-to-door within the district and offering residents two free smoke detectors.

“These can be used to add to your already installed detectors,” a post from the district reads, “or to replace outdated, dead or missing detectors.”
