Two sent to hospital in ‘stable condition’ following 100th Street collision

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Ambulance crews brought two people to the hospital after a collision in Fort St. John on Tuesday morning.

According to BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS), a call came in at 11:46 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25th about a motor vehicle incident at the intersection of 100th Street and Highway 97.

Members of the Fort St. John RCMP detachment and fire department also responded to the collision at the scene. Fire department members later confirmed to Energeticcity.ca that only two vehicles were involved.

One ambulance was reportedly sent to the scene, and two individuals were taken to the hospital in a “stable condition”, according to BCEHS. 

Members of the fire department say the road was briefly closed after the collision, but it has since reopened.

Energeticcity.ca contacted the Fort St. John RCMP detachment for information regarding the collision and has yet to hear back as of publication time.
