CHETWYND, B.C. — A multi-vehicle incident has shut down a section of Highway 97 through the Pine Pass, with no traffic able to pass in either direction.

DriveBC says the highway is closed between Mount Lemoray and Silver Sands due to the incident. The estimated time for reopening is Thursday at 11 p.m. MST, though crews remain on scene assessing the situation.
