Heating issue closes Tumbler Ridge Community Centre

Tumbler Ridge Community Centre is temporarily closed due to a heating issue.

TUMBLER RIDGE, B.C. — Residents in Tumbler Ridge looking to charge their devices or get out of the cold will need to visit the Town Hall.

According to an announcement from the district posted to Facebook on February 5th, the Tumbler Ridge Community Centre is currently closed due to a heating issue.

The closure covers all facilities within the community centre, including the daycare, restaurant, library and all other services.

Staff members with the district say they will provide updates on social media when the facility is able to reopen.

In the meantime, anyone with questions can call the district at 250-242-4242.
