Buick Creek water station closed due to power outage

Residents who need to access one of the Peace River Regional District’s (PRRD) bulk water stations will need to avoid the one on Buick Creek Road.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Residents who need to access one of the Peace River Regional District’s (PRRD) bulk water stations will need to avoid the one on Buick Creek Road.

According to an email from the district, the Buick Creek station is currently closed due to a power outage.

No timeline was given for when power would be restored, but the district says residents will be notified when the station reopens.

In the meantime, the four other water stations operated by the district are still available.
