Two people arrested in connection with Fort Nelson shooting

Two people have been arrested in relation to a shooting in Fort Nelson on January 29, 2025.

FORT NELSON, B.C. – Two people have been arrested in relation to a shooting in Fort Nelson on January 29, 2025.

The Northern Rockies RCMP arrested both people on January 31 and alleged both were involved in the shooting three days earlier.

The first suspect, a 41-year-old man, was arrested following a traffic stop. Later that evening, the RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in the 4600 block of 49th avenue in Fort Nelson.

The North District RCMP Emergency Response Team arrested another 41-year-old male.

After both suspects have their first court appearance, their names can be released.
