FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The acting president of the Fort St. John Classic Cruisers Club has suddenly resigned.
On Tuesday afternoon, acting president Cameron Alexander posted on Facebook that he had resigned from his position at the club effective immediately.
“I took over as president after Covid and brought new life into the club. My only goal was to leave the club in a better place than I found it,” says Alexander.
Alexander told Energeticcity.ca that he is stepping down to pursue other ambitions.
“With the help from our volunteers and admin team we helped grow the club and community over the past 3 years. It is time for me to shift directions in life, with that I need to refocus my energy on personal goals,” said Alexander.
Alexander says the club is short staffed and needs the public’s help to ensure the 2025 Canada Day car show will happen this year.
