Two people injured in two-vehicle collision in downtown Fort St. John

Two people were taken to the hospital following a recent two-vehicle collision in Fort St. John, police say.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Two people were taken to the hospital following a recent two-vehicle collision in Fort St. John, police say.

According to North District Media Relations Officer Madonna Saunderson, the crash took place next to the Pomeroy Arena at the corner of 93rd Avenue and 96th Street at roughly 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17th.

“Two people sustained injuries described as minor and were taken to hospital for treatment,” Saunderson says.

Witnesses at the scene told Energeticcity.ca they saw multiple ambulances, fire trucks, and police vehicles arrive at the scene after the collision.

No further injuries were reported, and according to Saunderson, the investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
