FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Police officers in Fort St. John arrested someone Friday afternoon after executing a search warrant at a residence.

According to RCMP North District Media Relations Officer Madonna Saunderson, the Fort St. John detachment obtained the warrant as a result of an investigation that began in December.

“Due to the circumstances pertaining to the investigation and subsequent search warrant,” Saunderson says, “the assistance of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) was requested.”

She adds that the investigation remains ongoing, and there are currently no further details, but more information may be released as it becomes available.
