Santa & Mrs. Claus Fundraiser brings in over $12,000

A local fundraiser has raised $12,170 for the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A local fundraiser has raised $12,170 for the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation.

According to a January 6th Facebook post, Unforgettable Memories Foto Source, organized the Santa and Mrs. Claus Fundraiser.

The annual fundraiser allows people to book a session to get photos of Santa with their children in exchange for donations.

All funds raised will go towards the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation.

“They extended heartfelt thanks to the community for their unwavering support and generosity, making this achievement possible,” the post reads.

Kelly Amboe of the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation says the hospital greatly values and values its partnership with the local business.

“Our long-standing partnership with Unforgettable Memories is an amazing, wonderful thing that they do for the community, as Christmas is a very joyous occasion,” says Amboe. 

“The foundation is always honored when people in the community are as passionate about our mission and vision as we are and contribute to it.”

The post says the store has raised over $87,000 over the past 16 years.
