Fort St. John Council Meetings rescheduled to January 6 for BC Resources Forum
The City of Fort St. John has announced the first committee of the whole and council meetings of 2025 have been rescheduled.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The City of Fort St. John has announced the first committee of the whole and council meetings of 2025 have been rescheduled.
A Facebook post from December 31st by the city states the meetings will now be held on Monday, January 6th starting at 3:00 p.m.
They were originally scheduled for January 13th, but the new date allows council members to attend the BC Natural Resources Forum in Prince George.

City Council has not held a meeting since December 9th, which was the last meeting before the holiday season.
Topics on the itinerary include long service recognitions to city employees, youth mental health and substance use presentations, and a family literacy week proclamation.
Meanwhile the committee of the whole will discuss parking strategy and snow and ice control.
