PACF grant applications now open for Peace region farmers

Agriculture producers and farmers in the Peace Region can now apply for funding through the BC Hydro Peace Agricultural Compensation Fund (PACF) for its first intake in 2025.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Agriculture producers and farmers in the Peace Region can now apply for funding through the BC Hydro Peace Agricultural Compensation Fund (PACF) for its first intake in 2025. 

The first submission intake closes on January 17th, 2025, at 12 a.m.

According to PACF’s website, it is a $20 million fund established by BC Hydro and is dedicated to supporting agricultural opportunities in the Peace region.

The fund supports agriculture in the region by providing grant funding to those involved in growing and producing. Money from the fund is distributed through Northern Development.

In November 2024, the PACF gave over $70,000 for agriculture projects in the Peace region.
