NRRM seeks residents for new tourism advisory committee

The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) has announced recruitment plans for its new Tourism Advisory Committee.

FORT NELSON, B.C. — The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) has announced recruitment plans for its new Tourism Advisory Committee.

In a December 27th Facebook post, the NRRM says it is seeking “passionate individuals” to help inform the council on issues related to local tourism development.

“We are looking for members from a wide range of tourism-related experience and geographic areas,” says the post.

According to the NRRM’s website, the committee, established by the council, plays an advisory role in providing experience, expertise, and recommendations to the NRRM by sharing insight, input, and feedback on tourism developments and tourism-related matters.

The deadline to apply for the committee is January 9th, 2025, at 2 p.m.
