We are excited to announce that we’ve won a couple of awards! The 2024 Canadian Radio Awards by the Broadcast Dialogue were announced on December 6. First, at 100.1 Moose FM, Chris Walker won Best Program Director of the Year (Small Market) for the second time in a row. Congrats Chris!
Second, our podcast Before the Peace won Best Podcast (Small Market)! This year was a big change for the show as our final original host Tre left and Chris took over hosting duties. Thank you to all of the guests that have joined us over the years, thank you to our sponsors including our current ones Troyer Ventures and the Fort St John Co-op, and thank you to all of the listeners!
If you haven’t heard the podcast yet, you can find it on your favourite podcast platform. Each episode, we are joined by a local Indigenous or Métis resident of the Peace to hear their story and learn more about reconciliation efforts in our region. Click here to learn more.
