Jake Gardner secures 6th at PBR Canada, earns points and prize money in Dawson Creek 

Bull rider Jake Gardner had mixed results at the Professional Bull Riding Canada (PBR Canada) event in Dawson Creek on December 7th.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Bull rider Jake Gardner had mixed results at the Professional Bull Riding Canada (PBR Canada) event in Dawson Creek on December 7th.

Gardner tied for second overall in aggregate points at 81.5 in the one-ride event on Saturday evening, according to a press release from PBR Canada.

His final overall finish was sixth, good for 10.5 points in the PBR Canada point standings and earning him $262.60.

Elsewhere, Dawson Creek’s Auzyn Corr finished second overall with an aggregate score of 84, according to PBR Canada.

The event was won by Saskatchewan’s Weston Davidson, who had a final-round score of 84.5.

Held at the Ovintiv Events Centre, the Touring Pro event was the second on PBR Canada’s 2025 schedule, according to its website.

A guy who found his calling later in life, Edward Hitchins is a professional storyteller with a colourful and extensive history.

Beginning his journey into journalism in 2012 at Seneca College, Edward also graduated from Humber College with an Advanced Diploma in Print and Broadcast Journalism in 2018.  After time off from his career and venturing into other vocations, he started his career proper in 2022 in Campbell River, B.C.

In a way, he hopes this position will allow both himself and Energeticcity to grow as a collective unit as his career moves forward and evolves into the next step.
