Taylor Council approves 2025 fee changes for municipal services
The District of Taylor has approved a bylaw outlining fees for various municipal services starting in the new year, including fax services, photocopying, property tax certificates, maps, and more.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The District of Taylor has approved a bylaw outlining fees for various municipal services starting in the new year, including fax services, photocopying, property tax certificates, maps, and more.
During the December 2nd regular meeting of council, the council reviewed and approved a bylaw detailing specific costs to be applied to municipal services provided to residents.
These administrative fees will be applied to services including local and long distance faxing, photocopying, property tax certificates, advertisements in the Taylor Times, maps, as well as copies of bylaws and published studies.
The bylaw also specifies fees for building permits and land use applications, fire protection, open air burning violation fees, and animal licenses and impound fees.
Fees are also being altered for cemetery services, including grave space fees, opening and closing for burial and exhumation, the installation and removal of memorial,s and more.
