Ledcor Highway Maintenance awarded 2025-2028 Alaska Highway maintenance contracts
The federal government has announced that two new Alaska Highway maintenance contracts have been awarded to Ledcor Highway Maintenance.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The federal government has announced that two new Alaska Highway maintenance contracts have been awarded to Ledcor Highway Maintenance.
The company, which also maintains highways elsewhere in BC, Alberta, and Ontario, will maintain the highway from kilometres 133 to 968.
According to Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), the contracts, worth a combined total of $103 million, run from June 1st, 2025 to May 31st, 2028.

Ledcor’s work during that time frame will include traffic management and control, surface maintenance, snow clearing and other winter road maintenance, drainage maintenance, and more.
As part of the company’s agreement with PSPC, Ledcor will have to subcontract a minimum of $57 million in maintenance work to local First Nations. Employment and training opportunities for people living in those First Nations will also be available.
“The Alaska Highway is an important transportation link to the Yukon and northern British Columbia for residents and tourists alike,” said Minister of Public Services and Procurement Jean-Yves Duclos.Â
“Through this maintenance and repair program, we are preserving the highway infrastructure to better support local economies and communities, and providing long-term value for the region.”
