Council greenlights recreation fee changes for Taylor facilities
The District of Taylor approved several fee-related bylaws in their first council meeting of December, including a bylaw altering fees for district recreation services.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The District of Taylor approved several fee-related bylaws in their first council meeting of December, including a bylaw altering fees for district recreation services.
During the December 2nd regular council meeting, the District of Taylor Council approved the District of Taylor Parks and Facilities Fees and Charges Bylaw, which specifies various fees for district recreational activities and services in Taylor.
The fees will apply to the district pool, recreational complex, curling rink, District Ice Centre, Community Hall, district ball diamond fields, and marquis tents, chairs, and tables.
Damage deposits, staff callouts, and key replacement costs were also specified in the bylaw, and some fees can be amended at the council’s discretion.
The fees and charges will come into effect starting January 1st, 2025.
