According to the District’s 2023 and 2024 Capital Plan, the fleet of carts at the golf carts were identified as requiring upgrading in 2021, and a plan was drawn up to split the costs of the upgrades across five years.

Replacements began in 2021, when 15 carts were purchased for delivery in 2022. The next year 15 more were purchased, and in 2023 10 more carts were purchased. In each Capital Plan moving forward to 2026, ten per year are budgeted for replacement.

The 20 carts will be purchased for $210,627, however the price will decrease due to the trade-in value of the older carts. Following this latest trade-in, the oldest golf carts in the Lone Wolf’s fleet will be 7 years old.
