The freezing rain could start Monday morning and continue until the early afternoon when southwest winds will bring warmer surface air, ending the risk of further ice accumulations.

Ice build-up due to freezing rain is expected or occurring. Where: B.C Peace region and southern sections of Fort Nelson region. When: Monday morning through Monday afternoon. A Pacific warm front passing over colder surface air will bring freezing rain to the B.C. Peace region and southern sections of Fort Nelson. Freezing rain will persist from Monday morning to Monday afternoon. By late Monday afternoon, southwest winds will bring warmer surface air, ending the risk of further ice accumulations.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots will become icy, slippery and hazardous.
