FORT NELSON, B.C. — Fort Nelson’s Annual Christmas Parade of Lights 2024 is coming up this Sunday in the city’s Downtown area. 

The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) told the public in a Facebook post on Friday, November 29th, to “get ready for a magical evening.”

“Whether you’re watching or joining as a float, it’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday season with lights, laughter, and community spirit,” said the post.

Starting on Sunday, December 1st, at 5:30 p.m., the parade will move through downtown Fort Nelson, starting on 50th Avenue North.

The parade will make its way to the Northern Rockies Regional Recreation Centre for the Christmas tree light-up at 6 p.m.

NorthEast Management, the organizer of the event, says spectators along 50th Avenue North will get plenty of parking access on both sides of the street.

Hudson’s Hope will also hold its Annual Christmas Parade on Sunday at 6: 30 p.m. 

The Fort St. John Santa Claus parade and Tree Light Up will be held on December 7th, 2024.
