PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — The Prince George RCMP detachment is desperately looking for new volunteers for its Victim Services Unit.

According to a press release, the two areas the detachment needs new volunteers in include ‘Court Support’ and ‘Victim Services support.’

“We would love to have some new faces join our team so we can continue to provide a high level of support to victims and their families,” says Aralee Hryciuk, Victim Services Coordinator.

The second position is the Victim Services support position, which requires 80 hours of in-office training.

Both positions require a security clearance and have work hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays.

“These volunteers are among some of the most caring and supportive individuals I have ever worked with,” says Hryciuk.
