The District of Hudson’s Hope announced that its Annual Christmas Parade will return this weekend.

HUDSON’S HOPE, B.C. — The District of Hudson’s Hope announced that its Annual Christmas Parade will return this weekend.

According to a Facebook post by the district, the city has 16 floats this year, and it is not too late to register. 

“Gather your friends and family to celebrate the season in style! This could be one of our biggest parades yet,” said the post.

The parade will start on Arena Road, travel along Dudley Drive to MacDougall Street, go around Kyllo Street, and go down Beattie Drive before finally going into Beattie Park for a grand finale.

From there, the park will have a countdown to a light-up display done by the city’s public works team. 

The parade starts at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 1st, 2024.

“It’s looking like the weather will be a bit chilly, and we want to keep our brave float riders warm and cozy! So, please find your perfect spot along the route to enjoy this special event,” said the post.
