In a November 26th media release, the company says it sells special poppy-themed donuts yearly, with all funds raised going to the Legion.

The cafe sold over 500 dozen poppy donuts, contributing to the funds raised.

“Giving back is at the core of what we do at The Canadian Grind—we are a small, locally owned business, and supporting the people and organizations that make our community special is incredibly important to us,” said Helm.
