Fort St. John Firefighter’s Charitable Society accepting Christmas Drop Off nominations

The Fort St. John Firefighter’s Charitable Society is still accepting nominations for its sixth Annual Christmas Drop Off.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Fort St. John Firefighter’s Charitable Society is still accepting nominations for its sixth Annual Christmas Drop Off.

According to a November 19th Facebook post, the Drop Off helps families in need during the holiday season. 

“It’s hard to express how much this event means to these deserving families, and we are excited to once again partner with the community in spreading the joy of Christmas,” the society said on social media.

A total of five families will receive a Christmas tree, decorations, wrapped gifts, and a turkey dinner. 

The association first announced nominations were being accepted for the drop-off in a November 14th Facebook post. 

“We’re dedicated to spreading kindness and supporting people in difficult times. Let’s join forces to help make this Christmas a little brighter,” said the post.

To nominate a family, please submit an email that includes some information on the family and why they should be nominated, as well as their contact information and your phone number.

Nominations can be submitted to applicationsfsjfcs@gmail.com and will be accepted until November 30th.
