After approaching the house, the kittens jumped out of the window one by one onto the deck to greet the officer.
The kittens were said to be no more than nine weeks old and infested with fleas and worms.Â
All of the kittens were collected and transported to the North Cariboo Animal Centre in Prince George for care.Â
“After they were given flea medication, it took staff at the centre two hours to comb out all the dead fleas from their fur,” said Drever.
