DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — Dawson Creek will be hosting the Kalipi’s Dinner for a Cause fundraiser to provide help in the aftermath of a severe tropical storm in the Philippines.
Back in October, the storm, called “Trami” as well as “Kristine” in some parts of the world, made landfall in the Philippines in late October, leaving at least 136 dead and many more affected.
The fundraising dinner is organized by the KALIPI South Peace Filipino community in Dawson Creek to help people back in the Philippines who have been devastated by the tropical storm.
