Dawson Creek announces possible four-day water interruptions

The City of Dawson Creek is informing residents of possible water service interruptions over the next few days.

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — The City of Dawson Creek is informing residents of possible water service interruptions over the next few days. 

According to a Facebook post from the city, teams will work from November 13th to 20th to replace the leaking water valves along the raw water line near the Hansen Reservoir.

“We are making every effort to minimize the impact on residents and complete the repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible,” the announcement reads.

Interruptions affecting residents in the area are expected to last three or four days. 

“The interruption will extend to the Deveraux Booster Station, but we aim to limit this to tomorrow [November 14th] only.”

People are advised to prepare for the interruption by stocking up on an adequate water supply.
