The route will continue past the Royal Canadian Legion, go around City Hall and return to the Cenotaph.
Fort St. John Legion President Shannon Smith says Remembrance Day is important for making sure Canadians remember the sacrifices soldiers and veterans have made.
“We don’t ever want to forget what people did for us, and what they are still doing for us,” said Smith.

Smith, along with the Legion’s Sergeant-at-Arms, Mike King, joined Dub on the most recent episode of This Week in the Peace to discuss the upcoming parade.
King says the local Legion branch was initiated in 1929 by a group of World War I veterans.
“They wanted to continue the camaraderie they had on the battlefield, and it was also a place for them to go and work off some of the things they carried with them,” King explained.
Spectators are encouraged to view the parade along 105th Avenue and 100th Street.
The City of Fort St. John is advising residents that road closures for the parade will start as early as 8:30 a.m. and reopen by 11:30 a.m.
This will be followed by a service inside the Legion at 12 p.m., games at 1 p.m., and a dinner at 6 p.m.
Everyone of all ages is welcome to attend.
