RCMP investigating a shooting in Prince George

The Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit is investigating a shooting that left one person dead.

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — The Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit is investigating a shooting that left one person dead.

The department says the shooting happened at the 1500 block of Victoria Street on November 6th at 11:45 p.m.

Prince George RCMP’s media relations officer, Corporal Jennifer Cooper, says the investigation is ongoing.

“This appears to be a targeted attack. However, the investigation is at its preliminary stages, and we continue to gather evidence,” said Cooper. 

Cooper and the department are asking anyone with information that may help with the investigation to get in contact.
