The release read that PRFN “commends” the individuals for stepping up and providing a voice that will “shape opportunities” for youth in the community.
PRFN Youth Coordinator Lisa Wolf told Energeticcity.ca back in September the aim was to make the council the “eyes and ears” for the community’s younger members.
The council will also be responsible for coordinating two annual events.
The council will be formally unveiled on Saturday, November 9th, at the PRFN Multiplex on the grounds of the First Nation from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., where the council will attend to answer questions and meet the public.
