Until November 15th, BC Hydro expects road maintenance to continue, including a riprap, a loose stone foundation, on River Road. Construction also continues on one of the drainage tunnels and the dam buttress galleries.
Permanent dam safety equipment will also be installed in the future, and loose concrete foundations will be poured in the next few weeks.
BC Hydro also cautioned drivers that they may encounter ‘loose gravel and increased commercial traffic’ and occasional short road closures on Old Fort Road due to equipment deliveries and trucks with heavy loads.
