Circle of Courage workshop coming to North Peace Cultural Centre

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — This Friday, the Circle of Courage workshop for youth development will be open to the public in Fort St. John.

The workshop, led by Mark Freado, an internationally renowned expert in youth mental health, trauma, and resilience, will introduce a framework rooted in Indigenous values that supports young people’s development, strengthens their sense of belonging, and creates meaningful community responses. 

The event is hosted by the City of Fort St. John as part of its Building Safer Communities Project.

Events Calendar Example

On December 13th, the city announced it had received $925,000 through the Government of Canada’s Building Safer Communities fund to support programs focused on crime and violence prevention, especially among youth.

The workshop is scheduled for Friday, October 25th, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the North Peace Cultural Centre, located at 10015 100 Avenue in Fort St. John. 

Lunch will be provided.
