Major traffic delays for Taylor Bridge repairs from Sept 23 to Oct 12

TAYLOR, B.C. — More maintenance is scheduled for the Taylor Bridge, starting later in September.
An announcement on DriveBC says overnight maintenance will commence in the 1.1-kilometre area to McMahon Road on September 23rd and last into October.
The post says single, alternating traffic will be in effect throughout the roadwork, beginning at 7:00 p.m. and lasting until 3:00 a.m. on weekdays.

Motorists are urged to “expect major delays” during that time.
Oversized and overweight loads of over 3.85 metres will be required to pass after 3:00 a.m. according to DriveBC.
The work will last until the early morning of Saturday, October 12th.
