FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Residents are expressing their frustrations about a notice of assent vote on a loan authorization for a water treatment plant in the District of Hudson’s Hope.

The district is approaching residents on the subject of borrowing up to $4,756,000 with interest over a period of 15 years to build a permanent water treatment plant for the community.

In order to borrow the funds necessary for the construction of the water treatment plant, residents have been encouraged to vote by the district in the notice of assent vote to be held on October 5th.
