FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Construction has begun on South Taylor Hill and is scheduled to run for 25 days starting September 9th.

From September 9th to September 14th, travelers can expect disruptions due to a reduction to single-lane, alternating traffic in the area. 

DriveBC has posted the construction notice, and individuals are encouraged to check the website for up-to-date information. Traffic is expected to be impacted from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., when the site will be active.

According to a press release from Argo Road Maintenance, the construction is hill stabilization work and will be mainly conducted ‘off the road surface.’

Reduced speed limits will be enforced within the construction zone, which is 4 kilometers south of Taylor near Pingel Creek Rd, for the duration of the project.
